This week, I’ve finished a very difficult (often tedious) path of work on conceptuality which I mentioned May 8 below. I now want to narratively path toward that abstract work (highland), by rendering senses of literary flourishing and comparative thinking (standardly called “interdisciplinary” studies, but I prefer interdomainal studies).

Meanwhile, all of my 11 “literary” excursions of mid-winter through April 3 have been grouped under the title “Literature21.”

My intent to write about aspiration led me into wanting to be clearer to myself about what I’m ultimately doing with all my projects: how does it all cohere purposefully? 



I’ve gained satisfactory conceptions of It All. But its density of articulation, 
its semantic compression, wouldn’t make sense without extensive explication. 
Actually, my plurality of projects is gradually doing that explication, but through focused, topical occasions. It’s not that the projects have lacked a tacitly cohering implicature of The Project evolving across cycles. It’s not that I’ve needed to gain a cohering which was lacking.

Sept. 5 | The eight short parts of “iso-belonging” prospect my interest in isomorphic thinking relative to aspects of belonging, from a horizon of PCS continuum (August 25 below) to conceptual modeling of action. It’s the last part of “a person-al humanity,” which prospects a differential holism of being, scaled from inner psychality to political life.

Working with hundreds of pages of offline notes can become vertiginous.

Anyway, the past month’s discussions relative to Heidegger are a departure from giving any more attention to his presence for awhile. But up the road, there will be intensive work relative to lots to do and share online meanwhile.

Feb. 7 | “Cartesian vs. hermeneutical sensibility” addresses interest in why scholars continue to invalidly associate Heidegger with sympathy for nazism, but I don’t get into detail about surviving those times. “Becoming post-Heideggerian” overviews what I’m generally doing with Heidegger’s thinking.
I want to leave Heideggerian interests behind, much as I’m thankful for the influence. Though I would enjoy sharing a close reading of any of “his” texts-in-English, I have more than enough attraction to other engagements.

There’s no admirable point to political anger unless it leads to actionable valuation… ”Reality unchosen, reality to prospect” is an outer worldly sidetrack from a project for Dec. 18 which is inner worldly, but highlights inner/outer liminality.

Dec. 6 | “Easily casual, easily alien” is the first part of a five-part set oriented by the notion of belonging: being chosen to belong in relation with choosing to belong.

I expect upcoming discussions to no longer focus on the presidential campaign (which seems fated to elect Harris). I’ll get back to engagement with practical conceptual interests.

Sept. 11 | “For the best of America” weaves phrases from the leading speeches
of the Democratic National Convention into topics of my own. Also, the “campaign 2024” page is no longer in chronological order. The top four discussions are primary for me; the other six are supplementary now.

I’m so close to doing lots of postings regularly. But I haven’t gained closure on clarifying the internal relations of the tens of themes that postings will altogether express: an intricate weave. Like finalizing readiness to build a house: It begins with slow assembly of a design which gradually emerges.
But the point of making a house is the home which can be there, discursive homemaking to be.

“‘lifecycleness,’ so to speak” prospects a felicitous neologism for exploratory conceptual work. “Meaning of significance: part 1” begins a venture about there being texted presence between author and reader which is usually figurative (showing implicature) manifoldly. A speaker/writer is figurative because being understood is normally wanted more than expressiveness.

My conceptual venturing has prevailing interest in usefulness rather than showing expert fidelity to academic topics (which I can do).

So, giving time to narrative about “proximal cohering of ordinary life” (Aug. 20 below) expresses shared ground (maybe oddly so, for my part) prior to venturing which is very different (but to be shared), which isn’t abandoning (let alone devaluing) ordinary life by pursuing specialist topics, because returning to practicality is always my aim.

Feb. 17 | I’m doing difficult conceptual work which doesn’t yet have a casual online mode, but the Work is going well … My harping about humanity in recent weeks has been to clarify a practical background (“What’s the point?,” you think?) for upcoming conceptual discussions.

May 21 | Theoretical biology advances notions of “evo-devo,” but a correlate, non-biologistic difference is expressed by the historicity of a life (developmental individuation) in a historicality of cultural evolving. “Deep heights appealing to low shallows” plays with the difference, from easy accessibility to difficult prospecting.

Feb. 26 | I believe I’m ready to begin a long project online piecemeal, maybe offering several named pieces per week, but at least one new posting weekly.
The unnamed project conception won’t be obvious from the pieces, but gradually the accumulation of postings will imply a clearing sense of what the project is, where it’s going, its pieces becoming sequenced aspects of its emerging conception.

Vistas in molecular engineering: “‘Inescapable’ COVID-19 Antibody Discovery: Neutralizes All Known SARS-CoV-2 Strains.” This is truly exciting. Notice in the article the technological means of gaining the results. Sooner than one might imagine, there will be no disease....

I’m working with my notes 10 to 14 hours daily, believing I have a realistic sense of the distance to a horizon (goal)—“new postings regularly, beginning in a week or so,” he says, below—and I’m usually wrong.

However, I’ve gotten to a culminative point that the coming week will clarify (offline). I’m stoked (as we used to say), exuberant. I wish I don’t need sleep. (Maybe the E.T.s, sending unidentifiable aerial phenomena around, can pursue their fun 24/7.)
